Our heritage traces back to IKS Klingelnberg—a global leader in mechanical blade manufacturing founded in 1814 in Remscheid, Germany. Since 1908, the IKS Klingelnberg Group has been a pioneer in industrial cutting tools, ranking among the top 30 global leaders in the sector and serving as a core member of the TKM Group.

1956: Establishment of Shanghai Mechanical Blade Factory, laying the foundation for domestic manufacturing capabilities.

1995: Joint venture with Germany’s IKS Klingelnberg Group, launching Shanghai IKS Mechanical Blade Co., Ltd. to introduce German technology and management.
